This week I went Live on TripleJ’s the Hook Up to discuss Pets and Dating.
One thing that was not discussed in the interview was something I really care about so I’ll share it here.
Truth be told pets are amazing for relationships as a whole. Regardless of what kind of pet person you are, pets have a sort of grounding effect on relationships.
Pets can often not carry as much baggage as human relationships so as a result can help re-write a person’s look on relationships if they have had a bad history in them. They can take away the sting because there’s usually no hate or alternate motive. A dog, if you will, is just a dog. A cat, if you will, is just a cat.
So looking at this, we can also see that some pets can help people get into new and amazing relationships.
