How to break past the fear of abandonment.
Step 1: Surrender.
Really though, the fear of abandonment is a fear of the pain of abandonment.
Why do we fear abandonment? Because of how it feels. It hurts. It’s painful. We don’t want it to be painful so we avoid it.
This avoidance behaviour manifests itself in weird and wonderful behaviours that can be and sometimes can not be supportive of our relationships.

To break past that fear is to surrender to it. To feel it, to witness it, to grow through it and beyond it.
